Note	Ancestor of the Sovereigns of N.Wales. Shared with his 5 brothers rule of Rhodri's lands. Allied himself to the Viking King of York, and raided South Wales, whose kings asked for protection from Alfred the Great of Wessex. He himself paid homage to Alfred, the first such Welsh submission, and secured English aid against his brother Cadell of Ceredigion.
